The Malaga town of Benahavís received the 2023 Spanish Trial Championship, the third round of the season and the second for the TR1s on a dry and dusty terrain that stood out for its high technical difficulty with zones of extreme level.
In the top category, Jaime Busto (HEBO - GasGas) took the lead from the start, being the only one who cleared zone 1. Followed by Gabriel Marcelli (HEBO - Montesa) and the Beta riders. Throughout the day the hardness of the zones increased and Busto set the pace in the scores.
Therefore, the HEBO driver took a comfortable victory, followed by Gabriel Marcelli and Adam Raga. After this result, Busto is the leader with 2 points of advantage over Raga and 7 over Marcelli in the general classification of the Spanish Trial Championship.
The next round of the CET will be on July 8 and 9 in Pobladura de las Regueras (Castilla y León).
