Paulo Duarte, the EnduroGP World Champion 2023, traveled last weekend to Lalín, Pontevedra, for the Spanish GP.
The event began on Friday afternoon with the Super Test for all categories, featuring a long list of national riders competing for points in the Spanish Enduro Championship, as the third race after Santiago and Oliana. Among them was HEBO rider Alejandro Ceballos who, after a weekend of ups and downs, managed to take second place on the podium in the Junior Open | Open 4S category.
Ceballos, the 2022 Enduro Open 4T World Runner-up, commented on his result:
"I was happy with the result on Saturday, but the pace during the day was not what I expected. Sunday started better, but a mistake on the second pass through the extreme section cost us a few seconds. There is still a lot of work to do to be at the top. Three tough weeks of training ahead before heading to Sweden and Finland at the end of the month. Let's go for it. Many thanks to everyone who makes this work."
