The HEBO rider wins the two days of the Hertz FIM Trial World Championship held in Andorra and distances himself in the general classification.
Toni Bou (HEBO-Montesa), a resident of the country of the Pyrenees, felt at home at the Sant Julià de Lòria circuit and took the double victory ahead of Jaime Busto (HEBO-GasGas) and Matteo Grattarola (Beta).
On a very technical track made up of steep rocks that were slippery due to the heavy rain that fell on the opening day of the competition, Bou proved to be the strongest driver and controlled the advantage he had over his closest rivals to climb to the bottom drawer top of the podium twice.
“I'm super happy with the weekend,” Bou said. “The sensations were good and both yesterday and today I feel that they have been the best moments of the season. The team has done an incredible job, in Andorra it is always difficult because of the altitude, so I want to thank everyone. The objective in the next race, in Italy, will be to always be as high as possible, arrive in good physical condition and fight for this championship, which will be tight until the end”.
In this way, Bou adds his fourth consecutive victory after also getting the double in the last TrialGP in San Marino.
Next round, from July 21 to 23, TrialGP of Italy in Sestriere.
